Let me say that this is a cute and quaint little pub/restaurant. My hubby had surprised me with the Wine Train to Villa Milagro and it was the last train of the season. A beautiful crisp day and a nice lunch was in order. Riegelsville Inn is literally a quick walk across the bridge and you are there. We sat inside and it had a nice little fire going in the fireplace and it was toasty warm. We started off with the toast drizzled with honey over figs it was delicious. Next I had the short rib poutine, it needed more short rib & gravy it was mostly cheese and french fries, but it was delicious as well and very filling. My husband had the lobster mac n cheese and he truly enjoyed it and for dessert he had the creme brulee I had the lemon tart- I was told these were baked locally for them and they were perfect. Zac was our server and he was attentive and very nice, prices are very reasonable and I highly recommend coming here and enjoying a nice lunch. They do have an outdoor patio for dining which I am sure gets very busing warm days.

Great food and service every single time I go, including when it is busy. Only thing I wish they would do is bring back that Nashville hot chicken sandwich

Service was great, and the food was delicious. I know it was Father's Day, but I found it odd that they were out of so many menu items.. Reading more reviews, it seems that happens often.

Passed this Inn multiple times when heading to the Poconos it's nestled right at the base of the bridge to NJ. I finally stopped in for a quick bite to eat. All the old Inn charm, the smell of a wood burning fireplace, creaky floors and stained glass. There was only one server but he was super sweet, full of energy and got the job done! Had to try the French onion soup I feel like that's an Inn staple. It was good. Nothing insanely outrageous but def a very tasty broth. The bread was a thin slice of Rye, I feel like that's where it could be improved on. I wanted to try some savory baklava with pears and Brie but they were out of it so my husband ordered these croquettes instead. They were interesting - I have no idea what the breading was and the inside was cheesy and had different flavors. Not a potato croquette if that's what you are looking for. The sandwich was solid - the chicken perfectly crispy and tender inside and the ranch was def homemade. The fries were homemade crispy shoestrings which is always nice - overall it was a nice experience I would like to come back for a dinner meal. Negative - bathroom is upstairs, it's super old and creepy, I def felt the energy of whoever resided there in the past! But that's part of the charm of these old Inns

Up at the tippy top corner of Northeastern Bucks County along the Delaware River sits the small Borough of Riegelsville. I always wanted to take my wife to the Riegelsville Inn for a meal and enjoy the beautiful view of the Riegelsville Free Bridge a wire rope suspension bridge opened in 1904 and designed by the John A. Roebling Company of Trenton (look up the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge in Cincinnati and of course the Brooklyn Bridge which was completed after his death). The inn, which sits in between the Delaware canal and the river, was built in 1838 by Benjamin Riegel, the founder of the town. We parked in a small parking lot on the side of the building and entered in the front door. The tin ceiling bar to the left looked like a great spot to enjoy a drink and a meal. We were seated on the right side back by the original kitchen (no longer in use for that purpose) which boasts a large cooking fireplace that helped keep the room toasty on a cold fall evening. The inn has all the character, craftsmanship and imperfections you would expect from a building that is almost 200 years old! Our server was a nice young man who kept up on us and made great recommendations. They offer bottled and sparking water as an upgrade or just regular tap for us cheap folks. Their drink menu featured over a dozen cocktails, several varieties of both red and white wines, a few sparkling wines and an average beer list. There were two food menus one for the pub and one dining dinner menu. They both had fantastic choices that made it hard to pick. For an appetizer I enjoyed a Shrimp Cocktail and my wife had a naked French Onion Soup that she absolutely loved. For our main entrees she had the Pork Chop 12-ounce pork rib chop, 135-degree sous vide, charbroiled to finish, grilled asparagus, garlic-infused honey drizzle at $34. She was over the moon with the pork chop. It was cooked perfectly, very juicy and absolutely delicious. She shared a bite and I agreed. I had the Ciderhouse Short Rib - apple cider braised boneless short rib, garlicky Brussels sprouts, mashed sweet potato, pumpkin spiced crispy onions at $38. The meat was tender and flaked off well, the sprouts which I normally dislike were great as was the mashed sweet potato. We were both happy with our choices. The bathrooms were located upstairs where you could find more dining areas. It's nice that they have preserved a lot of the buildings old features, but the building is very drafty and some areas could use a bit of TLC. Overall though this was a great stop for a night out with my wife and I would repeat when the weather is warmer and allows for a walk across the bridge!

When visiting the area we like to stop by especially for bloody Mary's! Last night 4 of us went there. The app of cheese w figs on bread Delicious, could use more figs! My lobster roll was good sent back fries as cold. One mis step. Pork chop was very good. Crab cake was enjoyed and filet mignon sandwich was tasty. Service was good and Eva server was good. Busy so missteps were not terrible. Just like this old building w charm. Be warned drafty if sitting near doors!

We were out riding on the canal path and and stopped here for lunch. Very cute old Inn. We only had sandwiches as we had to ride back. I had the Cesar salad with chicken. The small was $17.00. They are pricey but all Inns are. They offer outdoor dining as well. They are located on the river. Everyone enjoyed their food. Sorry no food pictures. I was starving.

Hmm I've been coming here for years with my dads. I'm just sad the menu died down a bit... but the food is still good. I think our servers name was Chris and he was great. Literally kept refilling my Shirley Temple even I kept knocking it over for some odd reason. I swear I wasn't drunk. Lol. Okay so for the food; Escargot: Not what I was expecting. It's different. However it still tasted great. I will say that I do miss the original buttery roasted escargot, but this new style was interesting and I kept digging in. 4/5 for me. Cast Iron Mac: Mehhh. No shade, it was okay. I just love that the pasta was cavatappi noodles. At least it was picture worthy. 3/5 Botticelli: Listen now!!! Granted there's only like 3 scallops, the aroma and flavor was spot on. I think this dish suits more for the summer time. The colors and presentation won me. 5/5 Tuddy: This was actually my boyfriends dish. I normally don't eat sandwiches at a restaurant but this was decent. 3.5/5 Elch: Solid Dish. The elk was cooked perfectly. The only thing that threw me off was the mashed parsnips. I wasn't expecting it to taste the way it did. Almost like creamy air if I may explain. 4/5 French Onion Soup: I will forever be a fan of their French Onion. Just give me all the cheese in the world on top of the soup! 4.5/5
